McClellan Ranch Preserve

1. McClellan Ranch to Stevens Creek Boulevard is a 2 mile out-and-back on a paved ADA-accessible path.

2. Nature Trail is a short loop along the creek and meadow. It is a bumpy dirt path, and dogs and bikes are not allowed.

3. McClellan Ranch to Linda Vista is a 1.2 mile out-and-back path that is part gravel and part paved and has a slight grade.

The EEC is open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit our animal ambassadors, engage with preserve staff, and learn about the local ecology.

Blacksmithing Demonstrations
Interested in learning about the trade of blacksmithing? The Baer Blacksmith Shop hosts blacksmith demonstrations on the last Saturday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. These are free events, and no registration is required.

Blacksmithing Courses 
Want to get hands-on? The Baer Blacksmith shop offers hands-on beginner and intermediate blacksmithing classes. No previous knowledge of metalworking is necessary.

McClellan Ranch Preserve is home to multiple historic buildings and restored structures. The original ranch house from Parish Ranch now serves as the headquarters of the Santa Clara County Audubon Society, offering a glimpse into the ranch's storied past. Visitors will also see milk and livestock barns, the water tower from the Parish Ranch, and a meticulously recreated Baer's Blacksmith Shop, originally located at De Anza and Stevens Creek Boulevard.
