The City of Cupertino’s Public Safety Programs are led by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department, ensuring community safety through law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency medical services. The Cupertino Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is responsible for coordinating disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts in the city. OEM oversees the Cupertino Citizen Corps, Block Leader Program, and Neighborhood Watch, fostering resident preparedness and collaboration. These programs engage the community in disaster response, communication, and neighborhood safety, enhancing overall resilience during emergencies.
