Disposal Resources
Recology's On-Call Collection program
We encourage donating usable items to local charities whenever possible. For items that can't be donated, Cupertino residents are eligible for two free on-call collections per year. These collections can include bulky items, construction debris, compostable materials, and general garbage. To schedule a pick-up or learn more about guidelines, visit Recology's bulky items webpage or call 408.725.4020.

Household Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste items are not accepted at our Environmental Recycling Days and should never be placed in your garbage, recycling, or compost bins. These items, including paint, pool chemicals, pesticides, cleaning solvents, batteries, and fluorescent lights, contain toxic materials and require special recycling procedures.
For proper disposal methods, please find more information on Household Hazardous Waste.
