More Information

Cupertino Safe Routes to School (SR2S) incorporates high school students who are passionate about either bicycling, healthy lifestyles, accessibility, sustainable transportation, and/or campus safety as part of our Working Group. This group is composed of Cupertino City Staff, school staff, district administrators, parents, students, and community organizers. We recognize that once students move into high school, they become the real change-makers on their campuses. As such, we aim to include two student representatives from each of the City's high schools as a part of our group. Together this working group co-creates the Cupertino Safe Routes to School program, coming up with education, encouragement, and engineering elements to improve access to active transportation for students. We meet once per month, excluding July, August and December.
