Scheduling Online

Schedule your building inspection online through the Online Permit Service Portal. For technical help, call 408.777.3228 or email us at permitcenter@cupertino.gov.

When requesting for an inspection, you will need to provide the permit number, address, type of inspection, desired date of inspection, and contact name, phone number, and email address.

Scheduled Inspection

You will receive a confirmation email before 7:30am on the day of your inspection to find out the two-hour time window for your inspection. All daily scheduled inspections can be viewed online by 7:00 a.m. PST on the date of the inspection. Please see Daily Scheduled Inspection.

Courtesy Inspection

You may request a courtesy inspection using the Courtesy Inspection Request Form(PDF, 406KB). Please email your request to buildinginspectors@cupertino.gov.

Schedule a Fire Inspection

Fire Inspections can be scheduled with the Santa Clara County Fire Department at (408) 378-4010.

Special Inspections

Certain types of projects and construction methods require special inspections to be completed by a special inspection agency. Any required special inspections will be noted on the permit and plans. Below are the City's Special Inspection forms and List of Approved agencies.
