Cupertino Named Tree City USA for the 12th Year

The City of Cupertino has been named Tree City USA by the the Arbor Day Foundation to honor the 12th consecutive year in 2023. This recognition honors the City's commitment to effective urban forest management. Tree City USA is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in partnership with the United States Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters. Cupertino was the first of 159 Tree City communities in California to receive this designation.
The City of Cupertino achieved Tree City USA recognition by meeting the program's four requirements:
