Cupertino Independence Day Celebration

The City of Cupertino hosted a full morning of Independence Day activities for the community, with more than 1,500 community members attending. The day began with a pancake breakfast at Quinlan Community Center, organized by the De Anza Optimist Club of Cupertino. This was followed by the official flag-raising ceremony at the Veteran’s Memorial, with special thanks to the City Council, Jackie Pagan, and Boy Scouts of America Troop 688 for leading the event. Continuing the fun, families and Cupertino City Council made their way around Memorial Park for a festive and patriotic children’s parade ending at the Memorial Park Amphitheater – where all enjoyed lawn games, coloring activities, bubbles, and a concert from Phil ‘n The Blanks!
