Cupertino Crime Reaches 10-Year Low

Overall Crime and Home Burglary Prevention - Nextdoor (1920px x 1080px).png Thanks to the efforts of city staff, vigilant residents, and our public safety partners,Cupertino's crime rate has reached its lowest point in the past ten years. 

The City remains committed to public safety as we move into 2025 and beyond. Residents are encouraged to continue calling 911 to report any suspicious activity or crimes.

Here are some safety tips to consider: 

  •  Activate your alarms even if you are stepping out for a short period.
  •  Report any suspicious activity immediately to the non-emergency line at (408) 299-2311.
  •  Lock your side yard gates and secure all windows and doors to prevent easy unauthorized access to your property, especially overnight.
  •  Keep all valuables secure, such as safes, jewelry, designer handbags and cash out of the master bedroom.
  •  Consider forming or joining a Neighborhood Watch Group to foster a sense of community vigilance.
